Every visit starts on time and opens with a consultation covering the guest's style likes and dislikes, face shape and a plan for keeping the look up between appointments. Guests change into a gown for their service and are offered a beverage and a magazine. The stylist checks in before the guest leaves, and for a first visit or a major change the salon follows up again three days later. Complimentary consultations can be requested online or by phone, and complimentary bang trims are offered between haircut appointments.

Color work runs from hand-placed balayage and foiled highlights, which range from bold shades to subtle natural tones, to gloss treatments that add shine and depth to natural or color-treated hair. Corrective color is performed by certified colorists, according to the salon. Blow-dry services include a French blow-dry finish that adds volume to fine hair and smooths curls, and in-salon event styling ranges from soft curls to detailed up-styles.

The owners emphasize continuing education for the staff. The salon is also hiring stylists for an associate program with hands-on training from a Master Stylist.

Parking is available in a six-space lot across the street marked for Paramount guests, and street parking is allowed when a spot is open. The salon is open Monday and Saturday 9am to 5pm, Tuesday 9am to 6pm, Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 7pm, and Friday 9am to 6pm, and it is closed Sunday.

Each visit begins with a consultation that shapes a maintenance plan around the guest's style, face shape and preferences, with a follow-up check after first visits or major changes.
