Pang Zoua Thor is a single-stylist studio occupying a 100-square-foot space at Sola Salons Maplewood, a collective of independent beauty professionals on White Bear Avenue. Parking is reached from White Bear Avenue heading north, and the lot cannot be entered from the Michael's parking lot.

About

The studio's aim is to be a safe and welcoming place for every client, current and future, and to help people shape their own style through hair design. Services are open to female, male and non-binary clients alike, and men's haircuts are booked under short haircuts.

Haircut and color visits include a full consultation, wash, conditioning, styling, water and snacks. Haircut consultations happen during the appointment, while color and perm consultations are handled by email with front and back photos, a desired look and hair history. Clients are advised to start with a perm before color, with two to three weeks between the two, and to avoid washing hair for 48 hours after color or perm. Appointments can be booked up to 90 days ahead through Vagaro, with a card on file to hold the time. Changes or cancellations made online are accepted up to 48 hours before the service, and later changes go through email. Late clients are still served, though some steps may be skipped.

Studio hours are listed as Sunday 9:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday 12 PM to 8 PM, and Thursday and Friday 1 PM to 8 PM. Accepted payments are cash, card, check, Venmo, PayPal and Zelle.
