It also calls itself a nationally recognized academy and says franchise locations are the only schools in the country recognized by Redken for excellence in education.

Visiting means booking with a student who works under licensed supervision. The student salon and spa are open Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 8:00pm and Friday and Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, and are closed Sunday. Cash is preferred; credit card and Venmo payments carry a 3% surcharge. Color prices start after a consultation, and color products are weighed on a scale so clients pay only for what is used. Only clients receiving services may enter the student salon area, so guests wait in the designated area. Anyone too young to wait unattended needs childcare arranged, or the appointment must be rescheduled.

Training runs through full-time programs in Cosmetology (1,550 hours over 48 weeks), Hair Technician (900 hours over 28 weeks), Esthetician (600 hours over 18 weeks), Massage Therapy (625 hours) and Nail Technology. Most courses pair classroom study with hands-on practice in the student salon, and include business and guest relations. The school states it is fully licensed and regulated by the State of Minnesota, the Cosmetology program is listed as Minnesota State Approved, and the campus is fully accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences (NACCAS). The Massage Therapy program is described by the school as accredited and prepares students for Minnesota massage therapy license requirements.

Support for students includes financial aid guidance, scholarships for those who qualify, and career services such as resume and interview coaching and introductions to local salons, spas and employers.
