Owner stylist Isabel Mateus Pedro leads the salon and began working with natural curly hair at 17. Services also reach beyond curls, from straight-hair cuts and full or partial highlights to color correction, which runs about three hours after a consultation, and hairstyling for weddings and special events.

Before a first visit, new clients need a consultation. It can be done by video for $30, about 20 minutes, and that fee is not refundable. Walk-ins are not accepted. Clients should arrive with hair clean, detangled and dry; detangling beyond the booked service is charged at $50 per half hour, and removing braids costs $115 per hour.
