Orion Ink Studio is operated as Orion Ink Studio LLC and works by appointment only. The studio is located in Brea, California, and clients book through the studio's own channels.

The studio describes Ombre Powder Brows as a newly refined cosmetic tattooing technique. The look is darker toward the tails of the brow and softer and lighter at the front, so the result reads as makeup. Brow shape and color are customized for each client, and the client approves the shape before any tattooing. The color is matched to the client's natural brow hair, undertone and skin tone.

An Ombre Powder Brows appointment runs about 3 to 3.5 hours and covers a consultation, brow mapping and the tattooing itself. Topical numbing is applied throughout, and the studio describes the procedure as mild to no pain. The service is done in two steps, an initial session followed by an initial touch-up, and a second touch-up is rarely needed. Healing involves about 7 to 14 days of scabbing. The studio says results can last two to three years or more, depending on aftercare, metabolism, skin type, color choice, touch-ups and lifestyle, and it recommends an annual refresher. The brows are implanted superficially, which the studio distinguishes from traditional brow tattoos and microblading. The studio also says the technique can be used to cover scarring.

Fineline Tattoo designs include florals, insects, animals, toys, ornamentals and playful cutesy motifs. Clients must be 18 or older. Tattoo inquiries are taken by text or Instagram direct message, not both, and need a full name, a design concept with details, reference photos, and the intended placement with an estimated size in inches. Incomplete inquiries do not receive a reply, and inquiries are answered in the order they arrive.

Visiting the studio is a controlled process. There is no waiting area and no guests, pets or children are allowed inside, except translators. Clients wait in their car on arrival, notify the studio, and are called in. Arriving more than 15 minutes late cancels the appointment and forfeits the deposit. A non-refundable deposit is required to book any appointment and goes toward the remaining balance.

Each brow is planned around the client, with the shape and color set individually and approved before tattooing. Payment plans are offered through Cherry, a buy now, pay later service, with 0% APR options subject to eligibility.
