Opal Artistry was started together by Crystal Jenkins and Corrinna Kesler. The studio is built around weddings, elopements and events, and it also runs an everyday salon for color, highlights, cuts and treatments. The salon describes itself as a boutique space.

Wedding, elopement and special event hair and makeup are done on site, for the couple, family or the whole wedding party. Boudoir sessions and styled shoots for wedding, elopement, engagement, beauty or creative vendors are also offered. On-site weddings, elopements and events have a $1,500 minimum. Celebrations outside the Greater Seattle Area carry a travel fee based on the number of artists, the distance and any overnight stay, and clients ask for a quote. Clients who have submitted the website intake form can book a free 30-minute wedding consultation.

The Bride package starts at $650 and includes a trial session, one-on-one help finding inspiration, a full-size lipstick and a surprise gift on the wedding day. The Squad package for the wedding party starts at $400 and offers updo, half updo or bombshell blowout options. Touch-ups can be added to the end of an event and booked by the full day or by the hour. Makeup application and makeup lessons are also available, and the lesson lets clients bring their own products and learn what to keep or toss.

In the salon, color work includes lived-in color, a maintained blonde and brunette look refreshed about every 6 to 10 weeks with a gloss, plus balayage, classic foils and keratin smoothing. Clients leave with personalized education and tips for using products at home. Payment plans are available for all services.

Booksy lists hours of 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM Tuesday through Friday, with the salon closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The salon takes no walk-ins, and special bookings are arranged by email. Staff wear disposable gloves and workplace surfaces are disinfected. Booksy also lists credit cards accepted, accessibility for people with disabilities, child-friendly service and Wi-Fi.
