ONTrend Hair & Makeup

ONTrend is run by owner and makeup artist Sara Ferguson from Elburn, and she is available to travel to clients. Bridal work is the studio's main focus, with hair and makeup done on site for the wedding party. Wedding bookings can cover hair only, makeup only, or both, for a party of up to 10. For larger parties, the team has added artists and stylists.

Beyond weddings, the studio takes on-site work for editorial, print, special occasion and photo shoot clients. Special event bookings include boudoir, engagement, family, gala, headshot, maternity and other sessions. Requests for weddings and special events go through the online booking forms.

The lessons side of the business teaches clients to do their own makeup. Private lessons cover highlight, contour, color correcting, custom color matching and eyeshadow blending. Each lesson includes a review of the client's makeup bag and guidance on how to use and care for brushes. Afterward, the client receives a customized product list and filmed how-to clips to refer back to.

Group lessons are designed for groups of friends and can focus on a full face or on three key features. Focus options include clean beauty, eyes, day-into-night looks, lips and lash care. The clean beauty group uses non-toxic, sustainable and cruelty-free products. Each attendee receives a face chart for notes and an ONTrend pen. The business describes itself as offering elevated beauty for refined clients.

Services combine on-site artistry with hands-on teaching, and lessons are tailored to the client's own makeup bag and goals.
