Sara Ferguson

Sara Ferguson is the owner of ONTrend and works as a makeup artist and cosmetologist, based in Elburn, Illinois. She trained across bridal, fashion, film, beauty and photography makeup and hair, and began her career with MAC Cosmetics in London, England. Her credits include stage work on Little Shop of Horrors with Music Theater Works at Northlight Theater, and more recently Franz Lehar's The Merry Widow at Northwestern University's Bienen School of Music. Her work has appeared in Coco Eco and Prolific Magazine, and she has been key artist on a number of marketing campaigns. Since starting her own business she has worked with a large clientele, from brides to fashion clients. Bridal hair and makeup is her specialty, and she has over a decade of bridal hair and makeup experience. She also works on photo-ready makeup and hair that lasts through Midwest weather. She teaches makeup artistry through private and group lessons. Her approach is natural, elevated looks that highlight each client's own features, whatever their gender or background. Her European fashion work has given her a grasp of different cultures, looks and styles. She serves brides in Elburn and the western Chicago suburbs.
