OC ManScape was founded in 2001 by Stev, who runs it himself. The business focuses only on men's grooming and says it is different from a general salon or a nail salon that also offers waxing. It welcomes men of every type, with clients who range from 18 to 75.

A visit starts with a free consultation. Each treatment room is private, and only the waxer and the client are inside during the service. Payment is due in advance, within 30 minutes of the booking being placed on the schedule.

The menu has three groups. Skin care centers on a men's facial with a hot towel, cleansing, exfoliation, a masque and hydration. Trim and neaten up shortens hair to skin level, similar to shaving, as an option for men who would rather not wax. Waxing covers small areas such as eyebrows, nostrils, ears and throat, larger zones such as the back, torso and shoulders, and intimate areas including Brazilian waxes.
