Every appointment begins with an in-depth consultation. Consultations are free and can be requested through an online questionnaire. Custom color is tailored to each client and can combine base color, partial color and toner. New clients, and anyone wanting more than an inch of change, are advised to get a haircut before color. Add-ons, toner and other à la carte services are discussed at the consultation. Extension appointments require a consultation before booking, and extension prices do not include the hair itself. Customers booking more than one styling appointment should call the salon.

Styling is offered in-house and onsite for events and weddings. The salon runs the Oasis Residency, an education program, and mentors the next generation of stylists and colorists. Cancellations or no-shows require 48 hours' notice to avoid a $150 fee. The salon may recommend products it does not carry, in addition to the lines it sells.

Guided by education, artistic hair design and client care, the salon plans each color around the individual client after an in-depth consultation.
