OASE is a boutique day spa with a Danish-influenced design and service style. The name is the Danish word for oasis, chosen as a nod to the founder's heritage. Karen Weaver founded the spa and serves as its owner and CEO.

Guests enter at the rear of the building and climb stairs to the Guest Services desk; a front door off the sunroom is available for anyone who cannot use the stairs. Guest parking is behind the building, with one handicap spot near the front. Visitors are asked to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to complete intake paperwork and take a tour. The intake form is reviewed so each treatment can be shaped around the guest's preferences, concerns and wellness goals. Complimentary teas, coffees, water, mimosas and snacks are offered before or after appointments, and guests can arrive early or stay on afterward to use the relaxation rooms, including the fireplace-lit Tranquility Room and the sunny Sun Room. Outside food is not permitted.

The spa uses a team-based model, so guests are encouraged to book with whichever provider fits their schedule. Its products are described as premium, non-toxic formulations used across skin, body and nail services. Nail services are waterless; the spa says this saves up to 15 gallons of water per service and considers it a safer option, since water is a leading cause of manicure and pedicure infections.

Policies to note: first-time guests are asked to call or book online so a card can be kept on file to hold the reservation. Guests are asked to silence phones and smart watches, or leave them in the vehicle, and to avoid shaving on the day of a massage, facial or pedicure. Children aged 13 and under are not admitted; ages 14 to 17 may receive services with a signed parental consent form. Massage is not offered to anyone under 18.

Each treatment is tailored from an intake form covering preferences, concerns and wellness goals, using non-toxic products from a team the spa describes as licensed and committed to ongoing education.
