Before a first visit, new clients receive a few prep emails and complete an intake form on the day of the appointment. The visit opens with a consultation about hair history, routine and goals, and the stylist builds a plan from that conversation. Afterward, clients receive a custom routine, product suggestions and guidance for the time between appointments. Products are recommended during the service, with options for use at home.

Every service includes a full cleanse, but detangling is not part of it, so clients should arrive with hair fully detangled or add a detangling service when booking. Only the person receiving a service attends, and guests or children may come along only if they are being serviced too. The salon may photograph hair for social media or education, and clients can ask not to be included. Payment is accepted by cash, credit or debit card, Zelle and Cash App. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and late cancellations carry a fee of 20% or $20 before rebooking. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late pay a $15 late fee and may have the service shortened or rescheduled, while a stylist running more than 15 minutes behind gives the client $15 off.
