Kei describes the work as taken with care and not rushed. Services are grouped into consultations, cornrows and natural styles, feed-ins, knotless braids, locs, and twists, with faux locs among the loc offerings.

Appointments can be booked up to 60 days ahead. A non-refundable deposit is required to book and is applied toward the total, and the remaining balance is paid in cash or by Apple Pay. Clients can reschedule once, using the same deposit, up to 24 hours before the appointment through the confirmation email. Cancellations made by the client forfeit the deposit, while cancellations made by Kei are refunded. Appointments are not confirmed without a confirmation email, and all sales are final.

Hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 6:30pm and Saturday from 8am to 3pm, with Sunday closed. After-hours appointments can be arranged by text, subject to availability and an additional fee that depends on the style. Clients arriving late have a 10-minute grace period, and fit-in appointments have no grace period. Messages are answered within 24 to 48 hours.

Hair needs to be washed, blow dried from root to end, and free of product, including oils, before the appointment. A day-of wash or blow dry fee may apply if hair is not prepared, unless one is booked. Clients with damaged, short, or thinning hair or edges should consult before booking. The default length for most styles is midback, and extra length can be added.
