Nordine Salon & Day Spa opened its first salon in Vienna, Virginia in 1987. The business was founded by Nordine Elabassi, who was born in Morocco and moved to the United States in 1982. A full-service salon and day spa followed in Fairfax in 1992, a salon was operating in Gainesville by 2001, and a salon and day spa opened in the Fairfax Mosaic District in 2013. A 6,000 square-foot salon at Reston Town Center ran from 2003 to 2017, and the Reston Station location near the Wiehle Avenue Metro opened in 2017.

A full-service salon and day spa followed in Fairfax in 1992, a salon was operating in Gainesville by 2001, and a salon and day spa opened in the Fairfax Mosaic District in 2013. A 6,000 square-foot salon at Reston Town Center ran from 2003 to 2017, and the Reston Station location near the Wiehle Avenue Metro opened in 2017.

Today the salon has two locations. The Reston location offers both a full-service salon and a day spa. The Tysons Corner location offers hair, spa and skincare services, including HydraFacial treatments. Hours at Tysons Corner are Monday to Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Reston is open Tuesday to Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and is closed Sundays and Mondays. Both are closed on major holidays. First-time clients can call either location to book and to talk through a service tailored to their needs. Existing clients can book online, and same-day appointments are arranged by calling the salon to check availability.

The Moroccan hammam is offered at the Tysons Corner location in sessions of 60 to 120 minutes. A session moves through a black soap treatment, kessa glove exfoliation, a ghassoul treatment and orange blossom soaping inside a tiled steam room scented with diffused eucalyptus oils, then ends in a cool-down room with mint tea. The room has white marble and a water feature. Three signature hammam experiences are named Escape, Time for Yourself and Light on the Body.

The facial menu includes Hydrafacial, Meridian Bojin and Gua Sha facials, a non-invasive anti-aging facial called Lift & Sculpt, dermaplaning and customized facials. Customized facials are tailored to concerns such as acne, aging, sensitivity and hydration. The salon also offers luxury suite rentals to beauty professionals and sells handpicked products. The salon says it won DC Best of the City 2024 and describes itself as a top-rated destination in Tysons Corner for beauty and wellness.
