Nomobo is a women-owned hair salon at 1425 N. Ashland Ave in Chicago. Rather than employing one team, it works as a collective: every stylist is freelance and works independently, so clients book the person whose work and style suit them.

Haircuts cover precision cutting, short and shag cuts, razor cuts and customized styles, and color is tailored to each client. Hair services are by appointment only.

Retail is part of the space too. Pick-up orders are arranged by email, and retail walk-ins are welcome at hours that vary. Superette, the sister shop, focuses on cleaner home, body and ingredient products and carries Meliora Laundry and gentle home cleaning products.
