Newstar Salon has two Austin locations. The South Austin studio is inside N'Style Salon on West Gate Boulevard, and the North Austin location is inside Angel Hair & Nails on West Parmer Lane. Clients of all ages and all hair types are served at both.
The salon is run by owner Tony Tran, who has been working with clients since 1999. Hair services cover cuts for women, men, girls and boys, hair coloring, highlights, lowlights, under highlights, perms and Brazilian blowouts. Waxing is also offered.
The listed styles range from classic and modern bobs and layered cuts to fades, a flat top, a frohawk and a boys' shag. Clip-in extensions are available as well. The services named here are a sampling, and other services can be requested.
