New Skin Studio

New Skin Studio Esthetics LLC works from a suite in The BPSBC in Brooklyn Park and takes clients from across the Twin Cities metro. Its founder, Chia Ney Vue, started out in permanent makeup before training in Korean lash lift and brow lamination techniques, and those lash and brow services now make up the studio's menu.

The studio's approach combines the softer beauty standards of East Asia with the more defined look often favored in the West, with the aim of enhancing a person's natural features rather than changing them.

The Korean Lash Lift curls and lifts natural lashes without extensions, for a mascara-free look. Clients can add a custom lash tint to the lift and curl for an additional fee. Eyebrow Lamination sets brow hairs into place with a setting solution, and Eyebrow Stain adds precision brow mapping and a gentle stain, with results the studio says last up to 7 to 10 days. Eyebrow Lamination with Stain combines full lamination, mapping, a custom stain, and a brow wax and trim where needed to define the shape.

Visits are by appointment only, and bookings are made online through Vagaro. Guests are not permitted during appointments. Free parking is available on site, and WiFi is offered. Monday through Friday hours are 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday hours are 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM; the studio notes that hours are subject to change. The studio recommends a patch test 48 hours before a service for clients with sensitive skin.
