The spa names guest service, high-standard treatments and a peaceful setting as its focus. Treatment rooms have textured walls, a sound system and comfortable beds. Guests can relax before or after a visit in the on-site cafe, and champagne, hors d'oeuvres or a lunch or dinner can be added to packages for a fee. Bliss aromatherapy can be added to any massage. The spa says USA Today named it the number one spa in Scottsdale, a claim it presents on its own site.

The Serenity Facial is a 60-minute treatment with deep cleansing, exfoliation, fruit enzymes, a hydrating mask, warm towels, and massage of the face, arms, hands, neck, shoulders, feet and scalp. The Serenity Massage is a 60-minute, medium-pressure full-body massage with warm towels, a peppermint sugar scrub for the feet, and foot and scalp massage. The spa says these two treatments are available only at this location. The Serenity Head Spa is a scalp ritual with consultation, cleansing, scalp massage, a water ritual, and a shampoo and conditioning with a foot massage. Hair dryers are provided, but blowouts and salon styling are not included, and the spa describes the service as cosmetic and relaxing rather than a treatment for hair loss or scalp conditions.

Couples massages and facials take place in the 600-square-foot Deluxe Spa Suite, which has mirrors, fine-art photography, hardwood floors and its own sound system. The suite can host groups of 20 or more and is used for bachelorette and bridal parties, spa parties, bridal showers, birthdays, corporate events and celebrations. Bridal spa parties require an advance reservation and a deposit, and bachelorette pricing is by consultation for groups of at least four. Spa Coordinators can tailor packages for individuals or groups.

Services can be booked online or by calling 480-998-6991, and gift cards can be bought online for a dollar amount or a specific service. Hours are Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Memberships are non-committal and offered from June to September each year. Members receive one 60-minute Serenity Massage a month, can upgrade to a 60-minute Serenity Facial for $10, and get 10% off retail products and 30% off other facials and massages.

The spa describes its approach as a calm, spa-centered experience rather than a rushed salon visit, with a stated focus on healing, therapeutic treatments and guest service.
