Laser hair removal is performed with the Candela GentleMax Pro, which combines two laser wavelengths in one device and uses a built-in cooling device to cool the skin before each pulse. Clients can book a full body package that covers the face, neck, underarms, arms, hands and fingers, chest, abdomen, lower back, upper back, bikini line, legs, and feet and toes in one appointment. A free consultation comes first, and every laser hair removal client gets a personalized session plan based on skin type and hair color. Sessions typically run 9 to 14 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, with occasional maintenance visits depending on hormones, genetics and the area treated. Before treatment, clients are asked to shave about 24 hours ahead, stop waxing, tweezing, threading and depilatory creams for at least 4 weeks, and avoid tanning and self-tanners.
