Located on South Pearl Street in Denver's Platt Park area, close to East Colorado Avenue, Neighborhood Wax is a small boutique offering waxing and brow services. The studio is open daily from 9am to 6pm. There is no front desk, so questions and notices about arriving late should be sent by voicemail or text to (720) 262-9600.

The studio offers Brazilian and bikini waxing for women, facial and body waxing for women and men, brow waxing, tinting, hybrid stain and lamination, and lash tinting. Brazilian and bikini visits begin with a complimentary hot towel, and clients choose whether to keep a triangle or strip of hair or have everything removed. Brazilian visits also include a calming eye pillow, feminine wipes and a small treat, and guests may be offered champagne, Diet Coke or water on arrival. New clients receive an introductory Brazilian for $50, regularly $65.

Walk-ins are accepted when the schedule allows, though booking ahead secures a preferred time. A valid card is required to reserve; it is kept on file and charged at the service. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 24 hours' notice and can be made online up to that point. Later changes incur a fee of 50% of the booked total, and a missed appointment without cancellation incurs 100% of the booked total and may require prepayment for the next visit. Arriving more than 5 minutes late may mean the service is adjusted or the appointment rescheduled. Clients are asked to arrive a few minutes early to complete a consultation form and use the restroom if needed. The studio accepts major credit cards and cash, and cash payers should bring exact change.

Parking is in a lot directly in front of the building, including a spot reserved for Neighborhood Wax and extra customer spaces not assigned to other tenants. Children can come along with close adult supervision, but they are not permitted to recline on the treatment table or be left without an adult in the lobby. Only the client receiving a service enters the treatment room; friends, partners and relatives wait in the lobby. Gift cards come in physical form, bought in person, or as e-gift cards bought online, and either can be applied to retail products, waxing or brow services.

The studio uses a soft wax technique with a comfort-focused approach, applying a skin-protecting oil barrier before waxing. It says it uses the highest quality soft wax.
