Navinna Studio is a small, private studio in Philadelphia. The studio describes itself as a relaxing space where details are arranged for client comfort, and because it is small, companions are not permitted during appointments.
The menu is grouped into body, brow, facial, head spa, laser, lash, skin and waxing services. Underarm whitening is designed for dark marks from long-term use of aluminum-salt deodorants and for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation; the studio says results can be noticeable from the third session, with the best results taking six to eight weeks on the full protocol. Other body options include full and partial bikini whitening, back cleansing with a peel, and a booty facial.
Facials range from a painless microdermabrasion treatment to an acne facial done over several sessions, which includes cleansing, peel, extractions as needed, LED light and sun protection. Other options include a deep hydrafacial, dermaplaning, a deep glow facial with enzyme exfoliation, and a pro facial combining microneedling and exosomes that is suited to all skin types. Head spa visits can be booked alone or paired with a facial.
Laser hair removal is priced per session for the moustache and chin, underarms, half or full legs, thighs and the Brazilian area. Brow microblading takes about four hours, and a touch-up service is available. Lash lifts, brow and lash lamination, henna brow design and waxing round out the menu.
Booking requires a deposit, usually $20, which is non-refundable and non-transferable; microblading and its touch-up carry larger deposits. Rescheduling needs at least 72 hours notice, and later changes, same-day cancellations and no-shows forfeit the deposit. Clients have a 10-minute grace period and are asked to arrive 5 minutes early. Hours are 9 AM to 6 PM on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, 9 AM to 7 PM on Friday and 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, and the studio is closed on Sundays.
Several treatments are planned as a series of sessions, such as acne facials, peel facials and laser hair removal spaced weeks apart.
