About

The Rochester office opened in 2017 in the Oliver Culver House on East Boulevard. The practice describes the house as the oldest residential structure in Rochester. It was built in 1805, given a larger front section in 1816, and moved to its current location in 1906. The Manhattan consultation office is in the Sutton Place area of Midtown East, and surgery is performed in East Syracuse.

The practice aims for a patient's outward appearance to match how they feel inside. It presents surgical and nonsurgical options side by side, and individual results are not guaranteed and vary from person to person.

Visits typically open with a virtual pre-consultation alongside a consultant. At the first in-person appointment with the surgeon, patients receive a hands-on evaluation and talk through their goals, and the surgeon reviews both surgical and non-surgical possibilities. Nothing has to be decided at that visit. Before it, a general price range may be shared, with a formal treatment plan and itemized quote arriving after the appointment. Consultations and ongoing follow-up happen in person at the Manhattan and Rochester offices, not over video.

Surgery is performed in an office-based suite in East Syracuse with a free-standing, licensed operating room and a procedure room. The suite has held AAAHC accreditation for more than a decade and is used by only one surgeon, with dedicated pre-operative and recovery space. The practice says its facility meets the safety standards of a hospital operating room, as evaluated independently. Surgery is self-pay, cosmetic-only and done without general anesthesia. Anesthesia is chosen for each procedure and patient health, from local anesthesia with an oral sedative to twilight or deep sedation. The Syracuse office has an understated layout intended to feel calm rather than clinical.

Surgical stays generally last between seven and fourteen days, varying by procedure. Patients in New York City may enroll in a complimentary all-inclusive surgical package that covers the surgeon, facility and anesthesia fees, lodging at a guest house, and post-operative care; each patient is paired with a dedicated concierge and advocate. Patients coming from Rochester spend the first night after surgery in a nearby hotel and then travel back to Syracuse for follow-up appointments. Injection treatments take place at the Manhattan office, so those patients don't need to make the trip to Syracuse.

Dr. Hyaluronidase, which dissolves hyaluronic acid filler, is kept in the office.

The team helps patients set realistic expectations and offers both surgical and nonsurgical plans, using only techniques the practice considers effective, safe and time-proven.

The Syracuse office has an understated, calm interior rather than a clinical feel.
