Nails by Stacy is a small studio run by its owner, Stacy, who opened it under her own name on Main Street in Waltham. What began as a nail studio now also offers lashes, brows and waxing, and the menu is kept deliberately short.

About

Appointments are one-to-one. The studio books one client at a time with no overbooking, and each client is seated and stays with the same technician rather than being passed along. The studio says it will advise when nails need a break instead of another set. Every skin tone, nail shape, age and gender is welcome.

Pricing depends on length, shape and detail and is quoted in the studio before work starts. Custom nail art is priced per nail by detail, and prices for specific looks are given by message once a photo has been sent. Gift cards are available in any amount, and payment can be made by cash, major cards, Apple Pay or Zelle. Street parking is available on Main Street and nearby side streets, with public lots a short walk away, and the studio says it is easy to reach from Watertown, Newton, Belmont, Lexington and Arlington.

Works slowly and cleanly, one client at a time, and will suggest a break from nail sets when nails need one.
