Nail Artistry

Nail Artistry is a studio in Fullerton run by owner and advanced nail artist Christina, who works alongside nail artists Cindy and Nadia. The salon describes its services as luxury nail work built around structure, longevity and nail health. It operates by appointment only, and all bookings are made online.

A visit starts with booking, because walk-ins are not accepted, though last-minute openings may come up when available. Changes and cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice. Add-ons such as nail art or removal have to be chosen when booking. Children are welcome if a separate adult accompanies them and supervises them for the whole appointment. For questions or same-day availability, clients can text the salon. It is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Friday from 11:00am to 7:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00pm, and closed Sunday and Monday.

The core services are structured gel manicures for short natural nails, which include detailed dry cuticle care, a soak-off soft-gel overlay and one gel color. They start at $80, and final pricing varies by artist. Gel-X extensions are lightweight full-cover soft-gel tips customized in length and shape, with detailed dry cuticle care and one gel color; they start at $100 and usually take about 1 hour 15 minutes or more. The salon says structured gel helps protect and strengthen natural nails when applied and removed correctly, and that most clients get three to four weeks of wear with proper care. Gel-X extensions are typically filled unless the nails are lifting significantly.

Pedicures are done without soaking and without spa chairs. The mini dry pedicure covers toes only and starts at $50. The signature dry pedicure is waterless and starts at $70, with toenail shaping, E-file cuticle care, callus smoothing with a patented Smart Pedicure disc, exfoliation and hydration. Both offer a choice of regular or gel polish.

The salon can remove gel, structured gel or Gel-X applied at another salon. This must be reserved in advance and starts at $10; gel removal of other salons' products costs $10 to $30 and Gel-X removal costs $10 to $25. Removal of the salon's own gel or Gel-X is complimentary, with reapplication for Gel-X. Acrylic and dip must be removed before the appointment, since the salon does not apply them. Nails done elsewhere may be worked on, though removal or soak-off may be required depending on their condition.

Nail art add-ons come in four levels: Simple Art (15 minutes), Moderate (30 minutes), Detailed Art (45 minutes) and Intricate Art (60 minutes or more, by the advanced artist). Pricing varies by level. The correct level must be reserved, since without reserved time only minimal designs can be accommodated. Clients can bring inspiration photos to booking or email them to the salon for a recommended level.
