Nail Alchemy is a small, private salon in Winter Park with a focus on nail art and natural nail alternatives. It does not offer acrylic nails. Instead, the team works with structured gel manicures on natural nails and with GelX by Apres for longer nails.

Nail art is grouped into Simple, Moderate and Complex tiers, plus Freestyle options. Simple work covers French, solid or ombre chrome, lines and dots on most or all nails. Moderate designs include patterns, florals, airbrush and 3D blobs or swirls. Complex work can add stencil airbrush, 3D flowers, kawaii characters, crystals, charms and piercings. Character nails are priced per nail and must be booked with a gel manicure or GelX base. For Freestyle designs, the nail artist chooses the art, and clients may list any designs they would rather avoid before the appointment.

Permanent jewelry is offered as a Sunday special and as a regular service, each covering up to three pieces. Group visits need each person to book their own appointment. Bracelets in 14k gold-filled start at $85, silver is available on request, and charms are priced individually.

The salon also removes gel from nails done at other salons. Foreign soak-off costs $30 for 45 minutes, with the first 30 minutes at $25 and $1 per minute after that when MMA or dip takes longer. Because some products used elsewhere are similar to dental cements, this work can take longer and carry extra charges. Nail repair is free within the first week and starts at $10 per nail.

Hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm, with the salon closed Monday and Tuesday. Appointments are booked through the salon's online page, and services not booked ahead may not fit into the day.

Works with natural nails through structured gel manicures and with longer nails through GelX, and does not offer acrylic. The salon says it uses the best products available.
