MYND Hair Chronicles operates from Suite 106 inside My Salon Suites in Woodbridge. The suite is reached through open double doors off the main hallway. Parking at the Dillingham Square lot can be tight because a gym shares it. Clients text a check-in number when they arrive and may wait in their car or the seating area until they are invited back. The suite describes itself as a comfortable, welcoming place where clients can relax.

The menu covers everyday cuts and styling, color and blonding, and chemical and treatment services. Haircuts, a kids cut for ages 12 and under, and a shorter cut for returning regulars are available. Barber work includes tapers, skin fades, textured crops and beard shaping with an edge-up. Color options range from root touch-ups and gloss to full color, mini blonding, color blocks and bleach-and-tone services. Blowouts come in traditional and luxe versions, with the luxe blowout suited to thick, coarse or long hair. Perms, keratin smoothing, K-18 bonding, Olaplex, tea tree and hard-water detox treatments round out the menu.

Consultations are free, last about 30 minutes, and are required for new clients before chemical services and for existing clients making a significant color change. They can be held in person, by text, by FaceTime or by phone. Color transformations are quoted at the consultation, based on starting point, goal, length, density and products, and often take more than one session. Keratin smoothing requires a $100 deposit, and deposits for certain chemical services are nonrefundable and applied to the final total.

Booking is online with a card kept on file. The card is used only for listed fees such as late cancellation or no-shows, and it is not charged when booking. Changes made within 48 hours carry a 50% service fee paid before rebooking, and a no-show is charged 50% of the scheduled service. There is a 20-minute grace period, and late clients should send a message. Completed services are nonrefundable, though haircuts and chemical services have a 7-day adjustment window. Clients can book a special after-hours or weekend appointment on request, but these are not guaranteed and must be approved before booking. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment.

Clients may bring one guest if told ahead of time, and children must be supervised by an accompanying adult. Clients who would prefer that their face not be photographed can say so.
