Its menu is focused on protective styles in the singles and plait family, with hair included in each listed price and approximate durations given for each style.
Styles on the menu range from small box braids and small knotless braids to adult faux locs, butterfly locs that fall to the waist, and Bobbi Boss Nu Distressed Locs, which are pre-looped crochet hair wrapped with wavy hair. Several styles come in a choice of small or medium size, and sessions run from about five to seven hours depending on the style.
Booking is done by deposit. Every appointment requires a $30 non-refundable deposit, and cash deposits are no longer accepted. Full balances are not refunded on cancellation, and a $25 late fee applies if a client arrives 15 minutes or more after the appointment time. Emergency appointments on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday carry a $40 up-charge and are arranged by text. Questions go to a number that accepts text messages only, and clients receive a confirmation email with their appointment details after booking. Sales are final, and the studio notes that its policies may change without notice.
