My Place Wellness Center

My Place Wellness Center is an independent, family-run business in Henderson, about ten minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Parking is right at the door on the ground floor. The center presents wellness as a basic right rather than an indulgence, and it houses two lines of work under one roof: float therapy for clients and private salon suites for independent beauty and wellness professionals.

A 60-minute float takes about 90 minutes in total. Each heated float room has heated floors, an in-suite shower and changing area, and lighting and music the client controls. Towels, a robe, earplugs, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided. The water passes through several filtration systems and a pharmaceutical-grade treatment, and rooms are sanitized between sessions. The two float rooms are named Kaua'i and St. Tropez. The business says floating can help with blood pressure, inflammation, sleep, migraines and tension headaches, and notes that results vary, with most clients reporting effects within hours of a first float. Floating is not advised with open wounds, hair dyed within the past seven days, uncontrolled epilepsy, or in the first trimester of pregnancy. Massage services are not offered at this location.

Memberships come in three tiers: Restore at $59 a month for one float credit, Balance at $99 for two, and Elevate at $135 for three. They carry a two-month minimum commitment. Unused credits roll over monthly and expire after two years, and credits can be shared with friends and family. Members receive priority booking and access to the premium float room. Credits are forfeited if payment is not made for 60 days. Single floats start at $59, and new clients' first 60-minute float is $59. Suites come in four sizes, and the salon quotes pricing on request. Rent includes utilities such as electricity, water, internet and climate control, and tenants can pay either weekly or monthly. Every suite has its own plumbing with instant hot water, separate climate control, dimmable LED lights, doors that lock via Bluetooth, and phone-based keyless entry that works around the clock. The interiors use Italian marble floors and Venetian plaster walls, with touchless restrooms, while the shared spaces offer a filtered water station and high ceilings. A one-year lease is the preferred term, and new tenants who sign a lease receive two weeks free. Once approved, suites can be personalized with paint, decor and signage. Tours are booked by appointment from Monday to Saturday.
