Muse Aesthetics & Dentistry was founded as a studio that brings cosmetic dentistry and medical aesthetics together in one place. Dr. Darian Anderson and Sarah Garces, NP-C co-lead the practice. The studio describes itself as the only boutique in Del Mar combining these two fields, and as offering a full-face approach that coordinates smile design with facial aesthetics in a single plan. Dental and aesthetic treatments can be planned and sequenced together.

A visit usually starts with a personalized aesthetic consultation of about 30 to 45 minutes, which can lead to a custom plan that may include injectables, regenerative treatments and skin therapies. Smile planning is a longer appointment, about 45 to 60 minutes, that includes digital x-rays, a 3D intraoral scan and a digital smile simulation. Patients can also book a complimentary virtual smile consultation, a 15 to 20 minute video call with Dr. Anderson using photos sent in advance. Consultations are unhurried, and appointments are personalized rather than built around volume.

Signature offerings include the Muse Method, a non-surgical facial balancing treatment for the nose, lips and chin that uses dermal filler and is tailored to each person. Non-surgical rhinoplasty is also done with filler under ultrasound guidance. Neurotoxin options include Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, and treatment takes under 30 minutes. Results begin to show at 5 to 7 days and are complete at about 14 days, typically lasting 3 to 6 months. Filler results are described as immediate and typically last 9 to 18 months, depending on the area and product used. Most porcelain veneer cases are completed in two to three appointments over two to four weeks, and veneers start at $2,000 per tooth, with each case priced individually. Smile makeover pricing is custom and set during consultation.

Practical details: the studio is open Wednesday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 3 PM. It works on a fee-for-service basis and does not bill insurance. A $150 deposit secures an appointment and is applied to same-day treatment, or becomes a consultation fee if no treatment is performed. If no treatment happens that day, the deposit stays on account as credit for up to three months. Changes need at least 48 hours' notice, or the deposit is forfeited. Financing is available through Cherry for amounts up to $10,000, for patients at least 18 with a valid bank-issued card. Cherry runs a soft credit check, and 0% APR options depend on eligibility.
