ATX Extension Studio is operated by Morgan Powers, who owns the business and does the work personally. The focus is on hair extensions, with an emphasis on seamless, natural-looking results and on keeping the client's own hair in good condition while extensions are added.
The menu covers the full extension process. Clients can book a hair extension consultation, tape-in extensions, and row installs ranging from one row up to four, with maintenance appointments for each. Related services include extension coloring and full color, toner and gloss, matting and knot removal, corner moveups, hair tinsel, and removal. Cuts, root touch-ups, full color, and blowdry styling are also available for clients who want the rest of their hair handled at the same visit.
Appointments are held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM, Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 3 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. The studio is closed on Sundays. Clients are asked to contact the salon at least 24 hours ahead to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance carry a 50% fee, no-shows are charged in full, and clients who arrive 15 minutes late without notice are charged and asked to rebook.
Buy Now, Pay Later financing is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Gift cards are also sold. An emergency house call service is listed as an add-on, starting at $200 with a visit of two hours or more.
Work is planned around keeping the client's hair healthy and intact when extensions are added. The studio aims to build lasting relationships with the people it works with.
