Molly Mack Hair

Molly Mack Hair is run by Molly McAlinden, who began her career at a Gold Coast salon in Chicago that she describes as one of the city's top salons. She spent 15 years on that salon's education team training up-and-coming stylists, and now works from her own space at the Hubbard Street location.

The menu covers everyday cuts and blowdries for women and men, kids' haircuts, and bridal work including bridal trials and updos. Treatments include a Cezanne smoothing service, deep conditioning, a scalp steam meant to remove buildup and hydrate the scalp, and a glossing treatment that adds shine and tone to existing color. Extensions are offered too, starting with a consultation for first-time clients, followed by weft installation and move-ups. On-location and at-home appointments for house calls, weddings and events start at $300 and run 45 minutes or more, and the stylist confirms each booking before it is final.

Business hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 AM to 6:30 PM and Friday from 8 AM to 1 PM, with the studio closed Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Cancellations within 24 hours of an appointment are charged a 50% fee, and no-shows are charged the full 100%.
