The salon describes its aim as an inclusive, safe and welcoming space for clients and stylists. It names gender affirming haircare, blonding and alternative looks as its areas of focus. All stylists work by appointment only, and walk-ins are not accepted.

For licensed professionals, the Pop In Pass offers a half-day session (4 hours, $75) or a full-day session (8 hours, $125). Each pass includes a workstation with a styling chair, mirror, tool cabinet, storage and power strip, plus use of a shampoo bowl, Davines shampoo and conditioner, towels, color bowls and mixing scales, a break area, and business wifi. Optional Pop In Pass+ kits can be added per session. Passes are primarily for hairstylists and are also open to barbers, makeup artists and facial waxing providers who hold the proper license and insurance. Sessions run only within the booked window, and only clients receiving services may be in the salon during a session.

The building has a front elevator and a larger rear elevator that can be reached without stairs, and the front door can open double width. The salon has two gender free restrooms. It is a few steps from the Irving Park Brown Line station, two blocks from Metra, and near several bus stops. Street parking is nearby, with a weekday 8AM to 10AM permit restriction on Ravenswood.
