Founded in 2020 by Alicia Gatti, NP, modernDOSE grew out of her nursing background and a view that skin, hormones, energy, sleep and stress are connected. The practice is led by nurse practitioners, and client records and history are shared across the whole team, so each visit builds on the last.

A visit starts with a conversation. Each client leaves with a written plan and upfront pricing, and the team says it will tell clients when a treatment is not needed.

The menu spans facials such as a salt facial, a hydra infusion and a carbon laser facial; laser work on Rohrer Aesthetics-certified platforms; chemical peels, microneedling, PRP and skin boosters, which can be combined in one plan; injectables and fillers; bioidentical hormone pellets; and a physician-supervised weight loss program. Filler is priced after a full facial assessment, and menu prices are starting points. Financing is offered through Cherry or CareCredit.

The practice says it has served more than 2,500 clients since 2020, reports an 80% client retention rate, holds an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, is a member of the American Med Spa Association and was a 2025 recipient of the Herald Health & Beauty Awards of Long Island. Results vary, and the practice notes that individual results are not guaranteed.
