Hair services fall into three groups: color and highlights, cuts and styling, and texture and extensions. Color work ranges from vibrant reds and foiling or balayage to brunette shades and ombre. The texture menu includes keratin and express straightening and texturizing. Extensions come as Kera Link, Micro Link or Tape-In, using brands such as Hairdreams, Donna Bella, SoCap, Dream Catchers and Hot Head. Prices start at $100 but are approximate and depend on the stylist's experience and the type, brand and amount of extensions, so they are confirmed at a required consultation. Each extension stylist chooses their own brands, and the salon states that its extension stylists are trained and certified in every brand they offer.
Spa and beauty services include facials, waxing, nail services, massage, makeup and lash extensions. The salon describes its microneedling and SkinPen services as affordable. An RN injector nurse is part of the beauty services team, alongside an esthetician and a nail technician.
The concierge team books appointments by phone and helps at the front desk. The salon is open Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 9 PM, Friday and Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, and closed Sunday, with morning, evening and weekend appointments available. A deposit reserves an appointment, and cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are charged 50% of the service. Private suites are available for large wedding parties, and updos and special occasion styling are offered on site. Stylists need at least three years of hair design experience before working independently with clients, and newer stylists shadow more experienced ones through the in-salon Trails Program in cut, color and styling. Education runs through the team: stylists are encouraged to keep training, and some are rewarded with tickets to classes at the Bumble and Bumble Academy or the Unite school in San Diego. The salon also aims to reduce and recycle waste and keep its carbon footprint small.
