The business grew out of owner Chelsea Escamilla's own path. She became an independent suite owner in 2018, launched MILLA, then expanded into her own salon storefront and started the Milla Extensions luxury line. After opening her salon she built a team around her work.

Hair extensions and blonding are the core of the menu. Extension services include hand-tied installs, one-row fullness, two- and three-row volume and length, and K-tip installs, along with re-installs and gloss refreshes on extensions. Color work includes signature partial foils with customized dimensional color, full foilayage with tipped-out ends and root tap, lived-in blonde, and gloss services. Haircuts are also offered, with a cut alone listed at $145 and gloss and haircut combinations starting at $190. Prices are listed as starting points and extension prices vary by row count.

Extension clients are asked to book a Master Stylist Consultation, which costs $65 and is recommended before an extension service. Online booking requires deposits, with the amount depending on the service, and a card on file is needed for all appointments. Changes or cancellations need at least 48 hours of notice. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment.

The studio is open Monday from 9:30 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 2 PM. It is closed Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
