Coloring visits begin with a consultation. The color is then mixed and applied, processed, rinsed, dried, and finished with a cut and style. Options include single process color with a demi-permanent color, root touch-ups, foil highlights, several balayage lengths, and toner or demi-permanent gloss, with or without a blow-dry. The salon suggests a root touch-up three to five weeks after a color appointment.

Clients book online and choose whether they are new or existing. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. Appointments are rescheduled through the link in the confirmation email or calendar invite. If no suitable time shows up online, clients can email appointments@milano-hds.com or call 773-217-9190. Clients who want a haircut sooner can book an open time and text the salon to join the waitlist.

The salon is open Tuesday and Thursday 10 AM to 7 PM, Friday 10 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday 8 AM to 3 PM. It is closed Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. Electronic gift cards are sold online in amounts of $50, $100, $150, or $200, or in a custom amount.
