Michelle Wight started Michelle Wight Makeup Artistry, drawing on roughly two decades of bridal hair and makeup work. She was also among the artists who worked on the cast of Love Is Blind season four. About

Bridal bookings come in two team formats. In the Lead Stylist Package, one lead stylist creates the bride's look while a team handles her wedding party. In the Michelle Wight Package, Michelle is the bride's artist, supported by two assistant stylists for the party. Every bride has a trial before the wedding day. A 25% retainer secures the date, and inquiries receive a reply within 24 hours. The business accepts a limited number of weddings each year. From May through September, Saturday bookings cover the bride's hair and makeup plus four additional hair and four additional makeup services.

The Destination Package costs $4,000 and covers bridal hair and makeup for the welcome party and the wedding day, with up to two hair and two makeup services for the wedding party and on-site touch-ups through the wedding. Travel is arranged separately and includes a round-trip flight from Seattle, a three-night minimum, airport transfers and a daily meal allowance. Destination bridal hair and makeup is offered in Italy, including Tuscany and Lake Como, with bookings for 2027.

Outside of weddings, special event hair and makeup is available for non-bridal clients either in the studio or on-site, with hair only, makeup only, or both, and with a choice of a dry style with curled-down hair or an updo or glam waves. Wight Down the Aisle films behind-the-scenes moments on iPhone, with three-hour, six-hour and eight-hour packages, destination coverage, and delivery within 24 hours. The studio also offers private two-hour makeup lessons.

According to the business, it has served more than 200 weddings a year and has 108 five-star reviews. It has 13 lead artists and says it was named Best of 2025 and 2026 by Washington Wedding Day.
