Miami K-Tips works from a private suite inside Areas Salon Suites at 4246 SW 152nd Ave in Miami. Each appointment is private, with the space reserved for one guest. The business operates within the Salons by QF platform and is open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed Sunday and Monday. Clients can text the owner, who replies within 2 business days.

Transformations begin with a free text consultation in which the client answers six questions and sends four photos of their hair; only the owner sees those photos. A $100 Design Session follows, covering a therapeutic shampoo, steam conditioning, a blow-dry, hair and scalp analysis, texture matching and a written transformation plan. The client is approved for a Transformation at this session, before a deposit is paid, and the final price is confirmed there. Straight Transformations start at $2,500 and can be worn straight only; Curly Transformations start at $3,000 and can be worn curly or straight. Hair is 100% virgin hair matched to the client's hair type, and the K-Tips are sized for fine hair and are light enough not to pull. Removal, a separate appointment at $600, takes out the bonds carefully and includes a custom treatment and trim. A Transformation lasts three to five months with maintenance.

Each Transformation day is a private appointment in a salon reserved just for that client. Every Transformation includes a two-week check-in with the owner and access to a private VIP Suite, which offers aftercare, how-to videos and a virtual check-in. If a client's hair is not ready for a Transformation, the owner enrolls them in the Hair Repair Program first.

Hair health services are booked online without a consultation. Journey to Straight Natural is a silk amino treatment for naturally curly, kinky and coily hair that makes it smoother and easier to manage without a relaxer; it is priced at $300 and booked for about four hours. The salon states that a silk press done after this treatment lasts up to five times longer. Frizz Free Curls, priced at $250 and booked for about four hours, uses a silk amino treatment to reduce frizz for curly naturals. Hair Repair Program is a treatment-only service at $250 per session with custom treatments and trims and no styling; after the first session the owner recommends how many more are needed. Returning guests can book lower-priced maintenance visits for both treatments, and those with a Legacy Key use a separate Legacy page for services no longer offered to the public. Deposits of $50 hold a booking and are applied to the total, and Klarna, Afterpay and Affirm are accepted. The salon's Google listing shows a 5.0 rating from 27 reviews.
