Mia's Lash Labs offers the Classic Lash Boot Camp, a three-day, in-person course capped at five students. It covers styling and mapping, safety and sanitation, and business marketing. Tuition is $900, and a $200 seat reservation goes toward that amount. Payments are non-refundable. Students receive a starter kit, a student manual, more than 20 case studies, a kit covering several months of service, and two weeks of free booth rent starting on day one. To earn a certificate, students must finish the case studies, the stated practice hours and all examinations. Enrolling alone does not make anyone certified. Applicants must be enrolled in esthetician or cosmetology school or hold a California license. Students without a license need the correct State Board license before charging for lash services, and the salon's certificate does not take its place. Out-of-state applicants should check their own state's requirements.
Lash styles are kept natural-looking and meant to accentuate the eyes and facial features, with the salon stating that its extensions are designed to protect natural lashes.
