New clients can book a free consultation, and a complimentary consultation is offered. Same-day appointments are often possible because inventory is kept in stock, and appointments are not tied to a single stylist. Each extension package includes the hair, the application, a trim and styling, travel-size shampoo and conditioner, an extension brush, a wide-tooth comb, a shower cap, a satin scrunchie and written maintenance instructions. Pricing is based on 20-inch lengths with a slight body wave, and extra length or other textures are handled as special orders. Clients need at least 3-4 inches of their own hair for a natural-looking result.

Color services are offered only to clients who also wear extensions, and they are used to blend the extensions into the natural shade. Itely Hairfashion is the color line used for this, and all lightening services include Olaplex bond-building products. The Cezanne Perfect Finish keratin smoothing treatment is described as formaldehyde free, lasts about 12 weeks, gradually washes out, and allows color or extensions right after treatment.

Extensions can stay in for 3-4 months or longer depending on the type chosen, and instant tape-ins last 6-8 weeks and can be re-applied up to three more times. Extensions that come out within the first 8 weeks are replaced when maintenance recommendations are followed. Under federal law, applied extensions cannot be returned or exchanged, but clients who are unhappy can report within the first 7 days for style adjustments. The salon participates in the Green Circle Salons recycling program.

The salon works as a team, with several stylists sharing each client, and it avoids booth rental, commission structures and high-pressure selling.
