A second salon, Melessa's Weave Palace, opened in Baltimore, Maryland in 2009, and the Baltimore location is now at 1020 S Charles Street. The menu is broad, running from braids and color to weaving, wigs, makeup and natural hair care.

Clients can call or book an appointment, and free estimates are offered. Weave installations are done in a private setting, and in-home or business-location visits can be arranged on request. The salon is open every day of the week from 9:00am to 9:00pm.

The salon describes its goal as giving each client a service that combines customer satisfaction, quality products such as extensions, and a pleasant setting. It also describes its atmosphere as enjoyable and its goal for staff as a friendly, fair and creative workplace.

Non-surgical hair replacement is a major part of the business, and the salon offers it for men as well as women. It accepts insurance for medical non-surgical hair replacement. The salon says more than 85% of its business is in hair weaving systems for multicultural clients, men and women. Its hair replacement staff are described as certified experts for medical hair loss conditions, and clients with hair loss from cancer, alopecia, lupus, female pattern baldness, severe thinning, hormonal imbalance or certain blood pressure medicines are served.

Hair sold at the salon is 100% virgin hair from Indian, Brazilian, Persian, Malaysian, Peruvian and Russian sources, sold at wholesale and retail. It comes in lengths from 10 to 36 inches, in wavy, curly and straight textures, and can be dyed to custom colors. Custom wigs are made from this virgin hair and must be uncolored, undamaged and thick enough for the wig ordered. Clients can have a wig colored and styled after it is made. Halo Couture extensions are also available for purchase in store.

The salon says its philosophy is to bring out each client's most beautiful inner self through its treatments, with customer satisfaction and quality products at the center.
