MAYVN operates from an office near the Borough Hall subway station, served by the 2, 3, 4, 5, N and R trains. The practice combines acupuncture and herbal medicine for general wellness with cosmetic treatments for the skin and body, so it suits people seeking either kind of care or both.

Acupuncture is offered for everyday concerns such as energy, sleep, pain, mood and digestion, and the practice lists commonly treated conditions including acne, eczema, anxiety, insomnia, back pain, allergies and menopause. Small sterile needles are used, and a brief pinch may be felt on insertion. Sessions are typically recommended one to two times a week until results are reached, with an initial course of three to six months. Herbal medicine uses botanical substances and can be used on its own or alongside acupuncture.

The skin services start with microneedling, listed for fine lines, wrinkles, scars, acne, uneven complexion and hair loss. It is usually done monthly, or twice a month for hair loss. Nanoneedling is a gentler option offered to clients over 70, those with very sensitive skin, and people with fine lines around the eyes, mouth and lips or with blackheads, and it can be done weekly. RF Cavitation uses ultrasonic waves to break down fat tissue, used for reducing cellulite. Hours are Monday 8am to 3pm, Tuesday 10am to 5pm, Thursday 11am to 7pm and Friday 12pm to 5pm, with appointments also offered one Sunday a month as listed on the booking page. A free 15-minute online consultation can be scheduled before treatment. Clients are asked to share their medical history, medications, supplements and pregnancy status beforehand. Insurance is not accepted, but a superbill or invoice can be requested for reimbursement or HSA use. Cancellations or rescheduling need at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full treatment price or one visit from a program package.
