Chava Weinberg

Chava Weinberg is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist in New York State, practicing at MAYVN. Her training includes a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, a master's in traditional Oriental medicine, and an associate degree in occupational studies focused on massage therapy. Postgraduate study took her to Yue Yang Hospital in Shanghai and to the Eye Hospital of China Academy of C.M.S. in Beijing, where coursework covered neurology, trauma recovery, pain management, EENT, dermatology and traditional cosmetics.

Her practice centers on dermatology and anti-aging care, scar therapy, mental-emotional balance, pain management and allergies, and she also works with conditions of the eyes, ears, nose and throat. She is certified in microneedling and as an Acupuncture Detox Specialist, a credential she applies to addiction recovery and mental-emotional health support.

She has also served as chief operating officer of Kamwo Meridian Herbs, an importer and manufacturer of medicinal herbs and supplements. She is on the faculty at Pacific College of Health Sciences, where she was previously department chair, and teaches herbal pharmacy, mental health, dermatology, immunology, oncology support, nutrition and Chinese medicine theory.
