Maven A Collect is a collective of independent hair artists in Boston, working from 119 Newbury Street, Suite 300. Each artist manages their own schedule and services, so clients work with one artist rather than a shared pool of stylists.
Booking happens directly with each artist through that artist's online calendar. A consultation is recommended before a first appointment, and Jade Federico asks new clients to complete an application before booking with her.
Co-founders Christine Bellemare and Jade Federico lead the collective alongside artists Kristina Martinez, Leanny Taveras and Luna Biehle. Their work spans dry cutting, lived-in color, corrective color, hair extensions, blonding and precision cutting, and several of the artists have been featured in national fashion, beauty and news outlets.
Each artist works independently, setting their own schedule, services and client relationships, with stylists encouraged to share ideas and support one another.
