The salon opened in October 2012, founded by two friends from Glasgow, Scotland and Albuquerque, New Mexico who had met while working at the same salon. They set out to build a place that feels warm and welcoming to both clients and staff.

Clients can book online or by phone. Colour appointments must be booked by phone and start with a consultation, and colour correction is priced after that consultation. Some colour, highlight, keratin and conditioning services are open only to existing clients. The Atlanta location is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 7pm, and guests are welcome to enjoy a beer while they visit.

The menu covers hair salon services such as cuts, colour, foil highlights, treatments and styling. Barbering includes beard and neck trims and a haircut with beard shaping, and children's haircuts are priced by behaviour for ages 5 and under. The salon describes itself as a place for all kinds of clients, and says a Barbershop Club comment describes it as a meeting point for hairstylists and barbers.

The salon carries its own grooming line of shampoo, pomades and beard oils, handmade with ingredients such as cucumber, licorice and bergamot and produced locally in Georgia. It also carries the Davines full colour hair care line and sells limited-run t-shirts with work from local artists, hand-dipped soy candles, natural soaps and handcrafted leather comb sleeves.

The salon says it aims to offer the best haircare at the best possible price, and its founders built it around a warm, welcoming environment for clients and staff.
