Marigold Esthetics

Marigold Esthetics is a skincare studio in Rochester that operates as a private suite inside the Bobby Pin Beauty Bar and Pure Sole Nails building on Monroe Avenue. There is a parking lot in front of the building, and a waiting area with refreshments is available before appointments. The building's shop dogs may greet guests at the front door, and the owner greets each client and walks them to the treatment room.

Facials are the core of the menu. Options include custom facials in 60 and 90 minute versions, a dermaplane facial, a dermaplane facial with a custom peel, a VIP facial with dermaplaning, and a facial built around facial cupping and massage with a custom facial oil. Other facials use oxygen therapy with nanoinfusion, with or without dermaplaning, and there is a massage-focused facial and a back facial. Dermaplaning can be added to any facial for an extra $25. Every facial client receives a personalized at-home treatment plan or card based on their skin needs and goals. Oxygen treatments are not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding clients.

Waxing covers the brows, lip, chin, sideburns, nose, underarms, arms, legs, and the bikini and Brazilian areas, the latter offered to female clients only. Brow mapping, waxing and tinting are available together or separately, and lash lifts with tinting are offered, including an introductory price for first-time lash lift clients. Bundled packages are available for brides and for clients who want a combined visit, such as a dermaplane facial with a lash lift.

Booking policies matter here. Appointments should be changed or cancelled at least 24 hours ahead, since later changes carry a charge of half the original service fee. Clients who do not show up are not invited to book again, and those more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled or moved. Arriving a few minutes early helps with intake forms. Clients are asked to pause topical retinoids and exfoliants before a facial and to report prescriptions and sensitivities at their visit.

Each visit is planned around the individual, with close one-on-one attention and detailed aftercare guidance.
