Angie is the salon's CEO and works as a stylist. Her hair work centers on braiding and wig installation, and she shapes each look around the client's own features and hair. Clients who want a more specific look can request a custom quote for special events, which can be done at the salon or at the client's home for an additional fee.

Booking works through a deposit. A $50 non-refundable deposit secures an appointment, and appointments without a completed deposit may be released to other clients. Cancellations and rescheduling need at least 24 hours' notice. Late arrivals have a 10 to 15 minute grace period, after which the appointment may be canceled or moved and a late fee may apply. The deposit is not refunded if a client arrives 30 minutes late, and a no-show is charged 50 percent of the service.

Hair appointments have preparation requirements. Hair should arrive washed, detangled and free of oils or leave-in conditioner, and clients who want to drop hair off must contact the salon at least three days ahead. Extra fees may apply for detangling or added prep time. Children and other guests are welcome only if they are also receiving a service. Payment is accepted by credit or debit card, Zelle, CaspAp and cash. After an appointment, the salon may photograph or record the finished hairstyle for its website or social media unless the client asks it not to.

The salon aims to enhance each client's natural beauty and tailors looks to the individual rather than offering one standard style.
