Carib Touch

Carib Touch is a hair salon in Braintree, Massachusetts, built around the care of textured and natural hair. The salon describes its mission as celebrating that hair with artistry, integrity and care, and describes itself as a one-stop shop for its clients.

Clients can book online, by phone at 617-850-2900, or in person at the salon, and a credit or debit card is needed to book. The card is not charged unless company policies are not followed. Consultations are required before any loc extension or full head restoration appointment. Only the services selected at booking are performed during the visit, so it helps to choose them ahead of time. The salon is open Monday and Tuesday 9am to 5pm, Wednesday through Friday 9am to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 2pm. Email is Info@caribtouch.site.

Timing and fees are set out clearly. Clients have a 10 minute grace period for late arrival; arriving 10 to 15 minutes late carries a $25 fee, and arriving more than 15 minutes late is treated as a no call, no show and cancels the appointment. A first no call, no show carries a $40 non-refundable fee charged to the card on file, and a second results in a permanent ban from booking. Cancellations need at least 3 hours' notice, with a $25 late cancellation fee otherwise. Appointments must be confirmed through Gloss Genius by midnight on the day of the appointment or they are cancelled. A $10 fee applies to take down a style that is still in when a client arrives. Loc extensions and starter locs require a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total at booking, and services longer than 3 hours carry the same 20% non-refundable deposit. Clients should not bring guests, with one guest allowed only if absolutely necessary, and a parent must stay in the salon while a child has an appointment.
