Every new client begins with a consultation to look at the hair, talk through what they want and plan the service. When a strand test is needed, the consultation takes about 30 minutes and the $25 test is charged. If no test is needed, the consultation can be handled by message at no charge, without a visit.

The color menu covers retouches, toners, partial and full highlights, babylights, balayage and blondes, plus color correction for unwanted tones, dark spots or earlier color work. Cutting and styling includes kids and men's cuts, women's haircuts, blow dries and a refresh package of gloss, haircut and blowout. Treatments include a hair mask, a keratin blow dry and a hair Botox treatment with blow dry.

Booking is online: clients send a request, and Mara confirms each one personally. A $25 deposit holds the appointment through Square and goes toward the service. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, and arriving more than 15 minutes late adds a $25 fee, makes the deposit non-refundable and may mean rescheduling.

Consultation first: each new client talks through their hair and wishes before the service is planned, with a strand test where needed.
