Lena Makushina launched the spa in January 2000 as a smaller boutique focused on treating different skin conditions. As it grew, the menu expanded to include facials, add-on peels and masks, face and body treatments, microneedling and multi-session packages.
The spa says it aims to find the root causes of skin problems and to address them both from the inside and the outside. Nutritional consultations and programs are offered alongside facials, and the spa says it welcomes clients with difficult skin and acne.
The Eminence Organic Facial runs 75 minutes and is listed as all-natural, free of preservatives and dyes, and suitable for all skin types, including rosacea or seborrhea. The Maksimum Extraction Facial, 85 minutes, is designed for acne, blemishes and blackheads. The Microglow Treatment is an intensive resurfacing session followed by a personalized mask and upper body massage, and the spa recommends six to ten sessions for best results.
Reservations are held with a valid credit card. Changes or cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged the full price of the scheduled treatments, and same-day appointments cannot be canceled without billing. Packages expire within one year of purchase, add-ons are not included in packages, and Mastercard, Visa, American Express and cash are accepted. Clients are asked to arrive early, since late arrivals receive a shortened treatment that ends on time.
The spa aims to address the causes behind skin concerns and to be open about ingredients so clients can make their own choices.
